Horse Riding

Each of our resorts offer a variety of horse rides and options from guided rides to more casual hacks. All rides come with basic instruction (for adults and kids) or without if you are an accomplished rider. Our equestrian centres also offer a longer half day and full day scenic tours for ages 13+ which take in the mountains and offer a truly special experience.

Morzine & Les Gets

Enjoy a guided ride through the woods of Morzine and the more accomplished riders can enjoy a longer hack through the forest and along the river Dranse.

How to book

It’s better to book this activity with our Active Reps at your Welcome meeting on arrival day. For bookings and further information during the week, speak with hotel reception or call your Active Rep whose number is on chalet & hotel notice boards.

How do I find the activity?

The equestrian centre in Morzine is located by the Dranse river about 5 mins walk from the Aquatic Centre and 10 mins walk from our hotels Hermine Blanche or Philibert. You will have to make your own way to the equestrian centre grid ref K5 on the map (see property pages). Just walk on the track to the left of the Morzine swimming pool and you’ll see the centre.

For Tignes holidays, the equestrian centre is located in Val d’Isère. You can pick up the free minibus shuttle to Val D’Isere (free on the MyTignes pass) or we can provide transport from our hotel to the activity for an extra cost, taxi or minibus. If you are self travelling you can drive there in less than 15 mins.
