Our free-use mountain bikes (5yrs +) are front suspension hardtail bikes with disc brakes. They are based at our main hotels so you can pick one up from our main hotel workshops each day. Your bike will be fitted to you each day and you will have to return it each day so it can be checked by our mechanics.<\/p>

If you have our Reserve a Bike Upgrade you can take your bike back to your chalet for the week, otherwise chalet guests will have to pick up\/return their bikes each day. If you have Reserved a Bike as a hotel guest, your bike will remain on the rack with your name on the frame so you don’t need to check it in and out each day.<\/p>

If you have not reserved a bike then rest assured we have plenty of bikes on our hotel racks, but try to avoid busy periods if you can. This is generally the first day (Sunday). In very busy periods, bike hire may be limited to half a day at a time.<\/p>

Faults<\/strong>
Please make sure you report any faults as soon as possible and do not ride the bike until our mechanics have checked it.<\/p>

Kids bikes <\/strong>
We have a limited stock of kids bikes and baby trailers, so speak with your Active Rep at the Welcome meeting to secure them.<\/p>

Allowable use<\/strong>
Our free-use mountain bikes are intended for gentle off road and valley floor trails. Please don’t take them up the lifts on the (green to black) Cross country or downhill trails. You can only take our free-use bikes on the Super Morzine and Zorre lift when following our Fantasticable Route Card<\/a> trail or the Pleney lift for the Les Gets Lake Route Card<\/a>. These trails utilise lifts, but are largely flat trails and tarmac roads at altitude, leading to base where downhill trails are not involved.<\/p>

If you would like to ride the green, blue, red, black trails then you must rent a well-prepared full suspension bike with hydraulic disc brakes.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Our free-use road bikes (10yrs +) are based at our main hotels and we have limited stock so you can expect to use one for 1 to 2 half days per week, (possibly more). We offer a free half day taster<\/strong> in Les Gets (Hotel Christiania) and Tignes (Hotel Tetras). You may wish to hire for an additional day or two and you can do this before you depart, which we would recommend. Our free use E-bikes in Tignes are intended for use with the free guided E-Bike tour that we also include, but you can opt out of the tour if you would prefer to go for your own E-Bike adventure.

In all our properties you can rent our front suspension E-Bikes. Up to two day\u2019s rental can be pre booked, but additional day\u2019s hire can only be done in resort, for reasons of availability.
Your actual days of pre-booked hire will be allocated by your Active Rep on your pre departure call so that it fits around your Activity Planner that we create for you, with all your inclusive activities.
