Top tip

Tignes tip: Combine your Tignes watersports centre visit at the lake with your Altitude Experience, as the two activities are relatively close by. You can also use your MyTignes pass for other lakeside activities which are also free on the MyTignes pass when you visit the lake. Activities like trampolining and archery are all close to the lake, so a fun afternoon of free-and-inclusive lakeside activities can be enjoyed after your Altitude Experience.

Morzine tip 1: Combine your trip to the kayak/SUP centre on Lac Montriond with an afternoon at the lake for some wild swimming, lunching at a lakeside restaurant and other kids activities or a gentle walk or bike ride around the lake.
Morzine tip 2: AFollow our fantasticable route card which isa superb walk or bike ride you can follow which ends up at the lake for your watersports session. It makes for a great day and the walk or ride will suit younger riders age 5-6+

How do I find the activity?

For Morzine
Grab a bike from our racks because Lac Montriond is an easy 40 to 60 min bike ride (10-20 mins by free resort bus) directly from our chalets/hotels. It is an easy cycle by road, or, for a more interesting and lengthy excursion – you can cycle or walk there using the lifts and trails (all abilities) following our Fantasticable Route card which is a lot of fun and great day out

Alternatively, the ‘Lac Montriond bus stops’ are marked on the map in the back of this guide.
Once at the lake, the watersports centre is at the ‘Morzine end’ of the lake, by the tourist centre and is very visible on arrival.

For Les Gets
This is not a free-and-inclusive activity for Les Gets guests, but if you’d like to visit Lac Montriond, it’s a bit more of a trek and necessitates a longer ride (which is more of a day out in itself). You can take the free buses (there is a change in Morzine) but should take no more than an hour to get there. Alternatively Les Gets has a lake with a great Wibit obstacle course which many guests prefer!

For Tignes
The Nautical Base is on the lake by the tennis courts in TIgnes Le Lac. Simply take the free resort minibus shuttle up to Tignes Le Lac (which stops 5 mins walk from our hotel and runs every 30 mins). The minibus stops near the tourist office in Le Lac on the main street and if you walk
